JOB REQUIREMENTS: Official Title: Admissions and Recruitment Coordinator II Business Title: Admissions Counselor - African American/Black Community Liaison Employment Class: Non-Instructional Academic Staff FTE: 1.0 Compensation: \$39,400-\$43,000 FLSA Status: Exempt Terms of Employment: Academic staff, full-time, annual appointment. Some night and weekend work and travel required. Successful applicant must have a valid driver\'s license, provide evidence of insurability and be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds. The incumbent is subject to a successful criminal background check. Must be comfortable with public speaking and willing to travel. Position Summary: As a member of the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh undergraduate recruitment and enrollment team this position works to recruit, enroll, and retain a diverse group of future Titans. The counselor will manage a variety of recruitment activities by developing relationships with prospective students, families, high school staff, and community members throughout the state and region. A focus of this position will be the recruitment, enrollment, and support of African American/Black students.
