Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable specialist to join our manufacturing team located in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. In this role, you will be tasked with the efficient processing of vendor invoices, fostering team collaboration, and acting as a liaison between the business units and vendors to resolve any Accounts Payable-related issues.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently process vendor invoices, ensuring adherence to internal controls and processes

• Foster a collaborative work environment, assisting team members as needed and contributing to the achievement of team goals

• Act as a primary contact for vendor inquiries, responding and resolving in a detail-oriented and timely manner

• Collaborate with business units to address any accounts payable issues such as unpaid vendors, goods receipts, purchase orders, and GL account confirmations

• Utilize SAP ERP software to maintain accurate records and aid in the resolution of exceptions

• Contribute to the improvement of return on working capital and cash flow through effective execution of accounts payable processes

• Assist in the preparation of month-end accruals as required

• Prioritize workload efficiently to maximize discount opportunities

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis.

Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role within the manufacturing industry

• Proficiency in using SAP software for financial operations

• Proven skills in Accounts Payable (AP) processes and procedures

• Experience in entering and processing vendor invoices accurately and timely

• Ability to handle monthly accruals and close procedures

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis

• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills

• Strong communication skills for liaising with vendors and internal teams

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
