What is the job about?

Grundfos is looking for a Senior Key Account Manager to join our Industry team.

The primary responsibility for the role is topromotethe end-user engagement in Mobility (Automotive) vertical by building significantcommercial knowledge of this Industry vertical Globally. Your responsibility will involve strategically developing selected Mobility Key Accounts to facilitate effective implementation and create a significant impact on transforming end-user engagement within the identified vertical in IND Global as a whole.

This role is remote and can be based anywherein Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, and Hamamatsu.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Lead or contribute to the development of selected vertical key account development strategy, including but not limit to collecting the industry trends and insights, screening out key accounts target, driving/facilitate/contributing to the value proposition development for the specific verticals, etc.

  • Effectively develop, grow the selected Key Accounts globally. The position holder needs to develop the key account strategy, deep dive analysis and action plan aiming at achieving collaboration or agreement with key account at global level heading towards a significant commercial impact.

  • In daily work, you need to work closely with a matrix sales organization to be able to focus on both HQ level and local level and being the one point of contact for this customer Group to ensure external high customer satisfaction and loyalty, and internal good coordination and transparency.

  • Proactively follow up, analyze, and report on Key Accounts and ensure regular internal and external dialogues.

  • Develop knowledge/competency to be able to able to promote the strategic conversation and value selling dialogue with customer to position Grundfos as a knowledgeable partner.

  • Maintain the yearly negotiations with Key Accounts

  • Monitor and report on pipeline, order intake, sales, profitability across Global.

  • Ensure quality opportunity pipeline and comprehensive hit rate.

  • Ensure knowledge sharing with the team and take responsibility for own competence development.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure we are perceived as highly customer Centric and collaborative ensuring ONE-GRUNDFOS.

Your background:

We imagine that you have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering or business.

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in a large international company working in a commercial role.

  • Industry background –good understanding of Mobility (Automotive) industry trends and production processes.

  • Experience of working in B2B with end users

  • Proactiveness and the ability to influence others.

  • Ability to think strategically and tactically.

  • Advanced negotiation & communication skills.

  • Proven stakeholder management skills - across borders and on all levels.

  • Experience working in a matrix organization.

  • Ability to identify and summarize learnings in a structured way.

  • Experience working with CRM and MS office, specifically Excel for analyzing purposes.

  • Ability and willingness to travel locally and internationally (25% of the time).

  • Fluent in English
