As a Physical Therapist, at Oro Valley, you'll play a vital role in doing what you do best- providing quality care to our patients. Requirements:
Requires a bachelors degree. Master's degree preferred.
Certified as a physical therapist in state of practice.
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
About the Job:
This position is in our OP clinic which has a blend of ortho, neuro, and other medical conditions to treat. Desire to do more of the neuro conditions would be a plus but not an absolute requirement. We have 45 minutes per patient and have a PTA to help with a variety of treatments.
Evaluating and assessing needs of patients and formulating treatment plans.
Provides therapy services defined in treatment plans.
Works cooperatively with physicians, case managers, and other healthcare staff.
May supervise physical therapy assistants, aides, and athletic trainers.
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a manager.
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
