Hello! We are are looking for a shipping and receiving clerk to help run he department for a facility in Ormond. The ideal candidate would be able to receive incoming shippments using an RF scanner. This candidate will be able to present leadership qualities and be able to transition to the receiving supervisor and be responsible for the day to day operations in the receiving department. Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities

• Accept and document packages and deliveries made to the facility

• Store items received in appropriate storage areas, documenting any changes

• Identify and resolve receiving discrepancies as they arise

• Maintain a clearly organized workspace

• Transition to Receiving Supervisor and be responsible for the day-to-day operations in the receiving department

Requirements and Qualifications

• Relevant experience in receiving and inventory management

• Knowledge of warehouse procedures and equipment

• Proficient in MS Office. Excel, Word, Outlook etc.

• Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks as well as the ability to work well with others

• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

• Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds

• Forklift experience (preferred but not required)

Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Position starting pay at $15 an hour as receiving clerk.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment

• wearing steel toe shoes

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• standing for 8 hours at one time
