Insight Global is searching for a Chief Information Security Officer. Our client is one of the fastest growing insurance brokerage and consulting firms in the US and needs someone to lead security efforts as the company continues to scale. This role is focused on building and growing the security frameworks, governance practices, and team within the organization as they continue to grow.

This person should have experience managing a small number of internal employees as well as personnel from third party partners. You should expect to work hands on about 50% of the time and handle personnel management the other 50% of the time. You should be comfortable presenting technical information to non-technical stakeholders, working with other executives and working with government agencies when necessary. You will be responsible for coordinating audits, upholding contractually outlined compliance, and overseeing incident response for cyber-based threats.

This role is 5 days onsite in the Daytona area. There will be some travel required within Florida and to California. Ability to travel for board/leadership meetings and to sites for ongoing assessments is required.

If you have served as a visionary CISO at a small or midsize organization who has undergone rapid growth, OR you have been a Sr Manager or Director of Security managing all aspects of security for an organization, this role is for you!

Skills and Requirements

· 5 to 10 years' experience in IT based functions

· A degree in accounting, MBA, CIS, or Information Security equivalent

· Experience working within HIPAA regulations

· Experience with Audit and Compliance

· Experience with Incident Response escalations to government agencies

· Technical experience with: Azure, O365, Sentinel, Defender, Entrada, Intune

· Experience managing people and security practices · One or more of these certifications: CPA, CISSP, CISM, CISA, PMP null
