Job Description Summary: The Systems Architect plays a pivotal role in designing and implementing robust, scalable, and efficient solutions for integrating diverse systems within the RDCC project. This role requires deep expertise in cloud-based solutions, DevOps, system integration, and software architecture. The ideal candidate will apply advanced principles, theories, and industry knowledge to solve complex architectural challenges. They will work independently and guide junior team members, leveraging their extensive experience in system design and integration. A Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of directly related experience in system architecture and cloud solutions are required. Relevant certifications and advanced degrees may be accepted in lieu of some experience. Job Description: The Challenge: In a rapidly evolving technological landscape, adaptability and forward-thinking are crucial for successful architecture. As a Solutions Architect, you will be at the forefront of designing and developing architectures that integrate various systems within the RDCC project. You'll ensure seamless functionality and efficiency while collaborating with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and business analysts. You will understand requirements, propose innovative solutions, and lead their implementation. You Will: Lead the design and implementation of cloud-based solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. Design and establish DevOps pipelines for continuous integration and delivery. Collaborate with data analysts and database architects to develop effective data integration strategies. Optimize system performance through proactive monitoring, automation, and architectural improvements. Develop comprehensive security measures to safeguard data and manage permissions. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective architectural designs. Mentor and guide junior architects and developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence. You Have: Extensive experience in cloud solutions, DevOps practices, and system integration. Expertise in programming languages and architectural frameworks relevant to cloud and integration solutions. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically about technology and its business implications. Proficiency in developing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines for deployments. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to obtain a security clearance. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. Nice If You Have: Experience in leading large-scale integration projects in multi-agency or complex organizational environments. Advanced degree in a relevant field. Experience with cutting-edge technologies in cloud computing, data analytics, and cybersecurity. Active VA clearance.
