U.S. Army Acquisition Support Center Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist in Orlando, Florida

Summary This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Business and Technical Management to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in competitive service. About the Position: This Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist position is delegated the authority of the Program Executive Officer, Program Manager, or Product Manager for all life cycle product support activities. This supervisory position is subject to a salary control point equivalent to $150,159. Responsibilities Provide overall direction and guidance for the development and implementation of a comprehensive product support strategy for the materiel system throughout the system life cycle. Planning, coordinating, and evaluating the execution of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) for major complex systems that encompass new Emerging technologies, complicated fielding requirements and Military Sales programs. Conducts cost analyses to validate the product support strategy. Adjust performance requirements and resource allocations across product support integrators and product support providers. Manage the processes of planning, directing, managing, monitoring, evaluating and correcting deficiencies in ILS throughout the research, development and acquisition process. Direct and oversees material fielding planning and execution in support of partners and allies. Additional information about transcripts is in this document. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade or band is required. It is defined as one year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-03 pay band (GS-13 equivalent or higher) in the Federal Service, which includes: 1) Providing authoritative advice on production support throughout all phases of the acquisition lifecycle; 2) Performing full range of administrative, logistical and technical duties of civilians to include assigning work, managing performance, and guiding professional development; 3) Overseeing the planning and implementation of product support efforts and daily operations to ensure optimal outcomes and best use of available resources, that will include the support of partners and allies via the security cooperation processes. Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. Additional Information This supervisory position is subject to a salary control point equivalent to $150,159. This is a DoD Security Cooperation Workforce position. Position is designated Security Cooperation Workforce and must comply with conditions of employment outlined in the interim Implementation Guidelines for the DoD Security Cooperation Workforce Certification Program 2.0, November 6, 2023. Selectees must meet position certification requirements at Level 3: Expert/Advanced in the Security Cooperation Functional Areas (FAs) Acquisition and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and Financing within 36 months of entrance on duty. This is a Key Leadership Acquisition Position (KLP) This position requires a 3-year tenure agreement. Must sign DD Form 2889 (Key Leadership Acquisition Position Service Agreement) and execute, as a condition of employment, a written tenure agreement Direct Deposit of Pay is required. This position requires you to submit a Public Financial Disclosure Report (OGE 278) or a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter. Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs is not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government interest. This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one-year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed. Relocation/Recruitment Incentive maybe authorized.
