Siemens Energy Service Operations Financial Data Analyst in Orlando, Florida

Service Operations is seeking a motivated financial analyst with digitalization experience to join their team in Orlando, FL! This role involves collaborating with management and technical teams to support Services Operations' growth and drive digital transformation. The candidate will develop and implement digital strategies and analyses to enhance transparency, efficiency, service delivery, and business growth!

How You’ll Make an Impact (responsibilities)

  • Lead the development and execution of digitalization initiatives within Services Operations, encompassing financial analysis, planning, forecasting, controlling, and budget consolidation for both top-down and bottom-up plans.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify digital transformation opportunities and implement solutions that streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and provide financial transparency.

  • Supervise and evaluate the performance of digital initiatives, demonstrating data-driven insights to recommend improvements and optimize outcomes.

  • Provide training and support to team members on new digital tools and processes to ensure flawless integration and effective usage.

  • Ensure compliance with regulations and standards while applying digital tools to analyze operating results, identify management priorities, and track key business trends.

  • Perform ad hoc analyses and develop reusable business analytics using digital tools, contributing to management decision-making and supporting special initiatives.

What You Bring (requirements)

  • BA/BS Degree or higher required in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.

  • 10+ years of broad Accounting/Finance experience

  • Highly proficient in SAP with sophisticated knowledge of digital analytical tools such as Alteryx and Tableau, and a deep understanding of commercial operations including Field Service, Repair/Manufacturing, Hardware, and construction accounting principles.

  • Proven expertise in project implementation, contract or order administration, and commercial management, with excellent project management skills to be responsible for multiple initiatives simultaneously and improve processes optimally.

  • Strong financial acumen, analytical skills, and digital literacy coupled with a history of cross-functional collaboration within Operations and Finance, demonstrating professional judgment and problem-solving capabilities to address complex challenges.

  • Proven leadership and mentorship abilities, with exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English, enabling effective interactions with customers, staff, and all levels of management.

  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
