Job Description
AECOM has a position available for a Senior Architect / Project Manager to join our Buildings + Places team in Orlando, FL. In this role you will be responsible for your own projects! This is a hybrid role that requires a minimum of 3 days per week in the Orlando, FL office.
The responsibilities of this role include, but may not be limited to, the following:
Performs various management, leadership, and people accountability responsibilities for a specific department's project/projects.
Manage and lead projects involving a wide range of engineering disciplines to achieve project goals
Manages group of architects and/or designers, coordinating activities of the unit.
Generally, requires multi-disciplinary knowledge of building architecture engineering.
Plans and develops engineering tasks concerned with unique or controversial problems. This involves exploration of subject area, definition of scope and selection of problems for investigation and development of novel concepts and approaches.
Maintains liaison with Team and Management within the organization and individuals inside and outside of the organization.
Responsible for acting independently on technical matters pertaining to the field.
Extensive Career progression evident in work history
Works under minimal supervision. Supervision received is essentially administrative with assignments given in terms of broad general objectives and limits.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
BA/BS + 8 years of relevant experience or equivalency of experience and/or education
Must be a Licensed Architect in the United States
Previous relevant architectural experience with scope, schedule and budget for projects
Experience leading a Design team
Previous Client facing experience
Previous experienced as a Seller/Doer
Experience with Bluebeam, MS Project, Project Financials, Invoicing,
Preferred Requirements
Previous experience identifying new clients/work
10 years of relevant Architectural Project Management experience is preferred
Previous architectural experience with large, complex projects involving design teams, and engineering teams, is preferred

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $96,000.00 - $145,000.00.
