Kforce Project Manager II in Orlando, Florida

A client with Kforce is seeking a Project Manager II to join their team in Orlando, FL. This is a hybrid opportunity. The IT Project Manager will support the End User Computing IT Team and our projects and initiatives. The End User Computing team supports various agendas, including device refresh, end-user architecture solutions, IT Asset Management, and Printers, as well as provides support to the business for various platform upgrades or changes.Duties Include:

  • PM will manage all project related activities within Workfront to ensure tracking and visibility of project deliverable

  • Collaborate with internal/external IT & business partners to document project deliverable and requirements

  • Perform standard project management related activities, including building/managing project plans, managing, and maintaining risk & issue logs and providing quality management metrics and updates

  • Perform normal and customary business analysis related to project data

  • Effectively manage key decisions/impacts related to project deliverables

  • Effective communication skills across multiple levels of the organization

  • As a PM, you will provide thought leadership related to project activities

  • Work collaboratively across multiple teams and functions to continually drive toward project agendas

  • Define, build, and adopt processes and procedures that support best practices to enhance the EU Computing experience

  • Work with business users to document business needs and translate to IT requirements

  • Assist with overall IT Device Lifecycle, working with internal partners (ITAM/Sourcing) and external vendors

  • Support adoption of Microsoft 365 applications and service integrations into the end-user experience including OneDrive, Teams & SharePoint

  • 8 years of general IT experience

  • 5 years of IT Project Management experience in an enterprise IT environment

  • 2 years of focused on End User IT related projects

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects, agendas, and timelines

  • Understanding and tracking of project budget and expenses (CapEx vs OpEx)

  • Ability to work effectively in MS Excel for business analytical functions

  • Experience in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies

  • Experience in developing documentation to support project turnover activities and process documentation

  • Working knowledge of MS Office Tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and MS Project

  • Knowledge of IT Service management based on ITIL

  • Excellent communication skills, presentation abilities, problem-solving skills, and customer relationship management

  • Good interpersonal skills

  • Ability to clearly communicate ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language

  • Ability to work as part of a team in a collaborative role

  • Extremely ambitious and self-directed

  • Keen attention to detail

  • Proven problem analysis/solution ability

  • Exceptional End User communication skills

  • Extensive experience working in a collaborative environment
