What You’ll Get to Do :

Finance Manager role for a large FEDSIM program with over $100M annual Revenue. Supervise a team of PFAs and serve as primary interface with the PM and Government liaison on all funding, tracking and invoicing matters.

Duties include creating and tracking annual fiscal plans, Long Range Plan, reviewing monthly rolling forecast and providing timely updates for associated R&O. Serve as lead for the program finance team as well as the customer to maintain contract EAC, prepare contract billing, and monthly financial deliverables. Provide oversight to ensure cost performance against plans and contractual cost obligations are met.

Comply with financial controls, procedures, system requirements, and forecasting techniques, as directed, to evaluate contract/program status and ensure compliance with government and customer requirements.

More About the Role:

Primary focus is to ensure accurate program funds tracking and reporting, and invoicing. Tracks and troubleshoots all DSO related actions for the program.

Reviews monthly actuals versus forecast and provide variance explanations. Closely manages PFA team and coordinates with PMO procurement staff to minimize forecast variances and provide real time updates on the timing of large ODCs.

May prepare ad hoc ROMs or assist with pricing efforts as needed.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks with a sustained high level of attention to detail.

  • Adhere to the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Sarbanes-Oxley and all corporate and contractual policies and procedures as they relate to contract financials.

  • Must be well experienced with Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, SUMIF, PIVOT Tables, etc.).

  • Ability to understand contracts of various types (T&M, FFP, CPF, etc.)

  • Familiar with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Joint Travel Regulations (JTR), and Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA)

  • Experience working with federal civilian or DOD personnel, including geographically dispersed teams and stakeholders is preferred but not required.

  • Experience with accounting software and development of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)

  • Bachelor’s Degree in finance or a related field and/or a minimum of 8 years’ experience in project related finance planning and analysis

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have:

Experience with Deltek Costpoint, IBM COGNOS, and Oracle CAPS, Smartview, MS Query.

Strong time management, interpersonal written and verbal communication skills; willing to take ownership and be responsive to ad hoc data calls.

Ability to work independently as well as with a team.

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$59,100 - $124,100
