Siemens Energy Mechanical Lead Engineer in Orlando, Florida

We are strengthening the Aero Gas Turbine (AGT) Engineering department within Global Customer Operations.
This team will be leading the AGT customer order projects from a technical perspective.
Supporting the Bid Management during the sales phase is another responsibility.
Lead the technical part of an order project. Manage the mechanical system technical scope for rotating equipment packages. Notably, this role is single point of contact, accountable, and responsible for the mechanical system: Lube Oil Systems, Fire Detection and Suppression Systems, Gas Detection Systems, Fuel Gas Systems, Liquid Fuel Systems, Enclosures, Combustion and Ventilation Air Systems, Accessory Gearboxes, and Starter Systems
Customer negotiations.
Cooperation within our team and other organizations.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Incorporates Siemens Energy design standards and guidelines, and adapts the assigned scope to meet project-specific requirements, due to Customer Specifications, Regional/Statutory Requirements for the Installation location, and any other Special Application Requirements
Supports Project Manager in Internal and External meetings and operational activities, including production planning, disposition and correction of non-conformances, and evaluation of supplier technical documentation.
This role applies advanced knowledge in the assigned systems, manages assigned scope projects, works independently, coaches, and reviews/approves the work of team members in this same job discipline.
You will support the manager to build a strong global engineering team.
What You Bring
Master or Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering
10+ years of experience with design and specification of mechanical systems for gas turbines in compression and power generation applications.
Leadership and communication skills
AGT experience is valued.

Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators.
