THE ROLE
The company is looking for a Line Cook Supervisor with the ability to both supervise other Line Cooks and prepare delicious entrees for our guests. You will keep check kitchen stock for fresh ingredients and supplies, prepare components before each meal service, and ensure the work area is clean and ready. During service, you will plate and garnish dishes that are ready to be served to our patrons. Menu is based on seasonal ingredients which, allows you to cook a variety of exciting means throughout the year. This position will report to the Director, Brand Partnerships.
RESPONSIBILITIES
LEADERSHIP
Supervise and lead line cooks while ensuring efficient SOP are being followed
OPERATIONS & LOGISTICS
Check inventory for ingredients and supplies, noting when more need to be ordered
Prepare ingredients before each meal service
Prepare dishes following exact recipe instructions
Plate and garnish dishes as prepared prior to being served
Clean work areas once meal service is done
QUALIFICATIONS
2+ years of kitchen management experience in high volume restaurants or equivalent education
Excels in a variety of cooking styles and techniques
Knowledge of food safety rules and regulations
Active ServSafe Management Food Safety Certificate
Flexible schedule, mornings, nights, weekends and holidays are required
Must meet the minimal criteria in background check
Ability to speak, write, read and understand the primary language (s) of the work location
Ability to adapt to new systems quickly
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels & busy environments
May work in drastic temperature climates
Must be willing travel to work events during holiday, evening and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlines
