As the Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for partnering with field sales team to secure additional sales for the Carrier Commercial Service Organization. This role is a great fit for you if you thrive in a fast-paced environment, excel at building relationships, and have outstanding customer service. This is the ideal role for those that are results-oriented and looking to grow their sales career with a leading HVAC Service organization.

Job responsibilities:

  • Sell and assist sales process; emphasize product features and select materials based on customer need, specifications, interests, demand, capabilities and limitations

  • Coordinate estimating processes; work with customer, sales teams, estimating and leadership to generate accurate pricing proposals for new and existing products

  • Maintain and interpret all quote documentation with accurate pricing and configurations; prepare quotes and contracts for potential customers

  • Work with sellers in your assigned market to build out comprehensive quotes for repair and service opportunities

  • Answers phone calls, providing price quotes and other information

  • Provides high level of service to internal and external customers

  • Establish customer rapport and effective questioning techniques to identify the prospect’s needs, budget, decision-making process, timeline, and next steps

  • Utilize applicable sales tools such as Salesforce to track and effectively develop sales opportunities

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Degree/GED

  • 3+ years of sales experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’ degree

  • HVAC industry experience highly referred

  • Aptitude to understand building mechanical system basics, facility management budgeting processes, sustainability initiatives, and customer needs

  • Salesforce and SAP experience

  • Proactive and able to balance multiple priorities

  • Excellent communication, both written and oral

  • Able to build strong relationships across industries and functions
