Signature Aviation Director, Operations Support & Planning in Orlando, Florida

As Director, Operations Support & Planning, this role is responsible for managing concurrent projects and responsibilities while also uniquely positioned to lead and drive the priorities of the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and other Operational leaders. You will serve in a critical position, enabling Field Team Members and Operations Leadership Team productivity, project management of strategic work, and managing stakeholders with an always-present mindset focused on identifying and enabling efficiency for our FBOs.

  • Serve as the main point of contact for all Field Support Center (FSC) projects that will impact Operations and influence key operations initiatives and cross-functional projects to strengthen operations support, effectiveness, and efficiencies.

  • Evaluate the process, tool efficiency, and operational effectiveness while concurrently partnering with FSC departments to enable continuous improvement.

  • Manage operations capacity planning for the organization, working with the Workforce Optimization Team (WFO) to coordinate labor adjustments and operations team for planning and execution.

  • Oversee operations projects, ensuring the operations team has sufficient communication to understand and work through interdependencies, align on projects, prioritize rollouts, and implement and track verification of rollouts.

  • Create and deliver tools and resources to the operations team to implement initiatives, with clear key performance indicators to support and drive accountability throughout the adoption and ongoing lifecycle of initiatives.

  • Facilitate clear and concise communication with strong attention to detail to operations, FSC departments, and the SLT/ELT team.

  • Manage daily operational activities (i.e., uniform compliance, QBV tracking and tool upkeep, task management, etc.)

Minimum Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or 10+ years of equivalent work experience

  • 7 or more years working in global and complex settings with multiple C-suite or executive-level stakeholders

  • At least 5 years of experience in Project Management, Process Management, Agile Delivery, or as a Team Lead

  • Proven ability to accomplish goals with highly complex, time-sensitive deliverables

  • Ability to influence the business at all levels in the organization

  • Exceptional project management skills, including the ability to effectively deploy resources and manage multiple projects of diverse scopes in a cross-functional environment

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to explain financial models and terms in a clear, concise way

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written, verbal, presentation, negotiation), including communicating effectively with people at different organizational job levels
