Description: Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables.

Works from diagrams and drawings, makes initial layouts, and uses hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws.

Makes continuity checks on work in process and completed.

May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications.

May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.

Basic Qualifications:

Prior experience with mechanical / mechanic assembly using blueprints, measuring instruments, such as calipers, gauges, or micrometers.

Use of various hand tools.

The ability to read and utilize process plans, sketches, photographs and data to outline the work to be performed.

Must have the ability to work 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement.

Due to facility requirements, all candidates must be U.S. Citizens.

Desired Skills:

Prior experience building system-level assemblies, such as automated test stations or simulators. Experience working with Operations Excellence Teams (OETs) to identify process improvements. Experience working on manufacturing flow lines with multiple team members. Experience travelling and interacting with both internal and external customers

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
