Mountainland Technical College Welding Teaching Assistant in Orem, Utah
WELDING TEACHING ASSISTANT
Location: Lehi, UT
Status: Part-time/non-exempt
Hours: Preferred hours Monday - Friday, 11:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., but time will vary depending on availability
Pay / Salary: $18/hourly
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Under the direction of the Program Coordinator, the Welding Teacher's Assistant must:
Supervise activity in the Welding Lab and give welding demonstrations to students
Enforce housekeeping and safety procedures
Any other duties needed to assist instructors and students
Qualifications:
- The Welding Teaching Assistant must: Have at least 2 years of shop/welding experience prior to entering the position; And/or Completion of an educational program in the field of welding
