Come join our award-winning team as a Maintenance Assistant at the Hampton Inn & Suites in Orem. If you're friendly, and have a working knowledge of general handyman skills to include use of small tools, painting, simple electrical, etc., then we want to talk to you! This position could be part-time or full-time. Must have weekday and weekend availability. Shifts would be flexible, but mostly 9am-3pm.

Operations

• Performs daily cleaning of all public areas and back of house.
• Ensures public restroom, fitness facility and pool are cleaned and stocked.
• Assists other team members or laundry operations as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds (lifting above the shoulder is also required).
• Must be personable and be able to relate well to hotel guests and co-workers.
• Must be able to stand, stoop, bend and lift objects throughout an 8 hour day as needed.

Performance Expectations

• Responds promptly to guests' needs with an interest and concern in satisfying every guest.
• Ensures guests and associates are satisfied with public area and exterior cleanliness.
• Ensures the hotel provides a welcoming experience through a clean and well-maintained property.
