Learn more about Gorman at: https://www.youtube.com/user/GormanUSA As a Construction Superintendent, you will: Supervise on-site personnel, forecast crew size, and maintain performance records. Develop job schedule, update as needed with the Project Manager. Review all specifications, subcontracts, and schedules. Coordinate activity with subcontractors. Enforce all jobsite safety requirements as defined by Safety Program, OSHA, HAZCOM, and Safety Director. Review all material specifications and purchase orders for all materials. Anticipate needs and coordinate delivery dates for all materials. Understand jobsite maintenance procedures. Knowledgeable of all equipment at job site. Maintains all necessary jobsite paperwork, including, but not limited to; comprehensive daily log, delivery tickets (verifies deliveries and submits tickets to the office weekly), field work orders, timecards, plans, specs and shop drawings, purchase orders and subcontracts, as-built drawings, and project photos. Work consistent with plans, specifications, and good judgment. Creates a positive, professional, and friendly environment. Ensures project is constructed in accordance with design and within budget, to be turned over on the scheduled date of completion. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested. Construction Superintendent Qualifications: Bachelor\'s degree in construction management, Engineering, or equivalent experience. Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications. Strong organizational skills, time management, high attention to detail, and excellent follow-up skills. Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally. Why work with us at Gorman?
