Job Title: Mill Machinist
Job Description
We are in search of a motivated, critical thinker to fill the role of Journeyman Machinist. In this position, you will be responsible for setting up and operating a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments.
Hard Skills
4-5 years of setup - milling experience
Programming
Experience with Mazak or Herco milling machines
Minimum of 5 years of trade school, vocational education, work experience, or completion of a formal apprenticeship
Soft Skills
Detail-oriented
Analytical and numerical skills
Ability to follow written and oral instructions
Team player
Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, bend, and stand or walk for extended periods
Flexibility to work shifts, including late or early hours, weekends, and overtime as necessary
Work Environment
The work environment can get warm, but large ceiling fans are in place and we provide Gatorade/water. There are two potential shifts; Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday, with hours primarily being 6am-4:30pm, including lunch and two breaks. Expect 45-50 hours of work per week.
