Director, Transmission and Distribution Operations

As the Director, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe, reliable delivery of power to all our customers.

Responsibilities:

Key Duties:

  • System Building: Lead teams in the development and maintenance of energy transmission and distribution systems, ensuring safe, reliable, and economic power delivery.

  • Restoration Strategies: Develop and implement robust restoration strategies and operations to swiftly address any disruptions and maintain system stability.

  • Planning and Management: Oversee the planning, scheduling, and operation of transmission, substation, distribution, and metering functions to meet customer needs efficiently.

  • Crew Coordination: Effectively coordinate crews and resources to optimize grid operations and provide seamless interconnection services.

  • Asset Management: Strategically manage utility assets, ensuring their optimal performance and longevity.

  • Field Leadership: Provide hands-on leadership in the field, guiding teams to execute tasks with precision and professionalism.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.

  • Proven track record of leadership in transmission and distribution operations, with a minimum of 15 years of experience.

  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations within the energy industry.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.

  • Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset, capable of driving change and delivering value.

  • Experience in utility asset management and grid operations is highly desirable.

Compensation Range:

$166,460.00 - $309,140.00

Actual total compensation, including a performance based incentive bonus, is commensurate with experience, skills, qualifications, education, training, and internal equity. While we anticipate the selected candidate for this position will fall towards the middle or entry point of the compensation range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis.
