Curbell Inc. Digital Sales and Customer Service Representative in Orchard Park, New York

Description

This position has responsibility for Inside Sales focusing on eBusiness customers while also assisting with customers throughout thecompany, including specialty products and National Accounts.

  • Provides collaborative assistance via phone, email and other channels to expedite web order processing and follow­up, field web customer questions and resolve problems. Update status in the website eCommercesystem and provide online customers with after­sales service, including verify web orders, update order status and tracking information, trouble shoot the shopping cart, send order confirmations and perform generalwebsite related customer service.

  • Provides Inside Sales functions as support for all Curbell locations to increase customer service levels without regards to territory. Special focus on specialty products (tapes, films, etc.) for internal and externalcustomers. Supports the National Accounts team with quoting and customer service.

  • Management of small and residential web inquiries (RFQ’s, Ask An Expert, Contact Us, and General Email) in collaboration with the Sales Development Team. This includes classifying, qualifying, quoting, routing,answering basic customer service questions, market related questions and non­complex technical questions.

  • Executes and delivers upon a defined set of Best Business Practices for the Inside Sales role. Includes Order Entry, Quoting, Sourcing, Customer Service, Closing Orders, and use of Curbell Selling System, CRM andSales Tools.

  • Using the SAP CRM system, reviews, verifies, and inputs customer contacts, quotes and orders. Responsible for managing customer information in SAP and CRM. Uses SAP CRM information to increase customer serviceexperience. Communicates with Sales, Purchasing and Management on new developments, sourcing and key account information.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Experience

Preferred

  • 1 year: Sales or Marketing experience. Knowledge of Plastics or Distribution helpful.

  • Ability to solve a range of straightforward problems and determine possible solutions using standard procedures. *Understands business­to­business selling approach; working knowledge of sales promotion techniques. *Able to perform basic arithmetic calculations quickly and accurately to prepare quotes. *Working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Proficient in SAP, or similar system. *May be required to travel on occasion.

  • Outstanding collaborative skills including the ability to engage people from multiple functional areas (sales, technical support, IT, etc) to meet the needs of the e­Business customers

  • Experience with Helpdesk, Live Chat and web Content Management System preferred.
