CNC Repair Technician
2nd Shift; Mon – Fri: 2:30PM – 12:00AM
Hourly pay rate: $22.00 - $36.00 DOE plus 10% Shift Differential
RESPONSIBILITY:
Installs, maintains, and repairs machinery, CNC equipment, physical structures, and pipe and electrical systems in commercial or industrial establishments.
JOB DUTIES:
Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.
Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand tools, power tools, and reassemble equipment.
Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs as necessary.
Assist in resolving problems, delays, and difficulties. Notify Supervisor if problems arise.
Provide technical assistance on new or existing equipment.
Troubleshoot machine tools and repair as needed. Qualify equipment for production run.
EDUCATION / SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
Three to five (3-5) years related experience and/or training in equipment maintenance in a manufacturing setting; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Related experience on diagnosing and repairing machine tools- CNC lathe, mill, screw machines, etc.
High mechanical ability and aptitude.
Must possess a working knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, welding, soldering, and other related skills.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Occasionally lifting, pushing, pulling or carrying 21-50lbs.
