We are currently looking for a Welder to join our team in the Carolinas!
Position Responsibilities:
Primary function is to fabricate and assemble metal structures and products using welders, cutters, and shapers
Certified Welder, Flux Core: flat, vertical, and overhead.
Fabricate and assemble Overhead Bridge Cranes according to job order, verbal instructions, and blueprints.
Develop layout and plans sequence of operations, applying knowledge of trigonometry, stock allowances for thickness, machine and welding shrinkage, and physical properties of metal.
Set up and operate fabricating machines, such as welders, punches, flame cutters, and drill presses.
Ability to design and construct templates and fixtures.
Ability to verify conformance of work piece to specifications
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to weld components that are vertical, flat, or overhead.
Ability to work in confined spaces.
Must have enough manual dexterity and stability as required for precision work.
Must be able to see details at close range.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Must be able to traverse facilities and machinery by climbing, balancing, lifting, walking, stooping, and carrying materials.
