Prepares all related reporting information. Performs financial analysis and participates in special projects, as required. Key Accountabilities Essential Functions:Analyzes and prepares reporting package for Manufacturing departmentAnalyzes product costing results and variances to standard cost.Participates in the preparation of the annual budgets for Manufacturing departmentInterprets financial operating results and makes recommendations for cost reduction and profit improvementProvides reliable data and looks for ways to continually enhance the quality of the information provided and the responsiveness of the team to the changing needs of the businessSecondary Functions:Specialist Projects as assignedOther duties as assigned.Budget Managed (if applicable):N/AInternal Networking/Key Relationships:To be determined based on department needs, to include interactions such as:Report to Senior finance staffInteract with Production line staff & ManagersSkills & Capabilities:The ideal candidate for this position will exhibit the following skills and capabilities:Demonstrated attention to detailStrong written and verbal communication skillsMinimum Knowledge & Experience Required for the Position:Education:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.Experience:Minimum of three years’ experience in a cost accounting, FP&A or related function required.Experience with product cost/cost accounting activities.Experience with SAP preferredAdditional Skills/Knowledge:Working knowledge of the concepts, principles, and practices of accounting and financial reportingDemonstrated expertise with Microsoft ExcelLanguage: Proficiency in English Language required.International Mobility:Required: Yes/NoTravel Requirements:Up to 5% of timeIf you are interested in constantly learning and being challenged on a daily basis we encourage you to submit your resume or CV.The annual salary range Werfen reasonably expects to pay for the position is $75,000 to $85,000.
