Electrical, Instrumentation and Analyzer Technician (OTX)
Responsible for completing preventative maintenance work and answering emergency calls related to any plant instrumentation or electrical issues. In addition, there are weekly, monthly, and annual inspections that are required to be completed. The technician will also handle the plant's analyzers and Continuous Emissions Monitoring equipment.
Essential Functions & Requirements:
Ensures Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
Maintain all facility instruments, sensors, probes, control loops, analyzers and electrical systems.
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and inspections.
Maintain necessary logs and records.
Perform emergency repairs as needed.
Education:
High School Diploma or its equivalent is required.
Associate's degree in Electrical or Instrumentation is preferred.
Experience:
With degree a minimum of 2 years Industrial electrical and instrumentation experience is required.
In lieu of degree, a minimum of 5 years Industrial electrical and instrumentation experience is required.
Competencies:
Must be able to work rotating 12-hour shifts to include days, nights, weekends, holidays and overtime. (required)
Must be able to lift and carry 30 pounds. (required)
Good safety habits, problem-solving and communication skills.
Must be a "team player". (required)
Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this position.
