Schedule: Full Time
Shift : Days, 7 days on / 7 days off, every 3 rd weekend. 10 or 11 hour days

The role you’ll contribute:
The Clinical Staff Pharmacist supports the mission of the department, hospital, and health-system by preventing, identifying and resolving drug related problems to assure patients safety, improve patients’ satisfaction, optimize patients’ outcome and minimize cost. Works in the main Pharmacy, as well as in patient care areas. Will perform all functions of a registered pharmacist including accurate and timely dispensing, clinical interaction with the healthcare team, patients’ involvement, and technician supervision.

· Actively performs all pharmacy technician functions and maintains active proficiency
· Maintains operational expertise in and actively provides coverage of the technician services
· Oversees appropriate utilization of medication automation, technology, and computer systems
· Accurately oversees the management of medication inventories and the preparation and dispensing of patientspecific medication doses
· Completes critical medication order scrutiny, drug profile review, and patient monitoring to identify, prevent, or mitigate medication-related problems
· Proficiently verifies/enters medication orders and proactively communicates with medical staff to resolve problem medication orders
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :
Minimum qualifications :
One year of Contemporary hospital pharmacy experience
Bachelor of Pharmacy, Doctor of Pharmacy, or other advanced pharmacy degree
Licensed State Pharmacist
