We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Manager to join our team in Opa Locka, FL. The Production Supervisor will oversee the manufacturing process of packaging solutions, ensuring efficient operations, adherence to quality standards, and timely delivery of products. Responsibilities
Ability to set daily/weekly/monthly goals, communicating them effectively to employees
Solid knowledge of organizational workflow and ability to delegate by assigning responsibilities and formulating schedules
Assist Leadperson on the daily schedules and issues that arise
Supervisory skills needed to oversee employees and coach them effectively
Lead, manage and hold all employees accountable
Check production output according to scheduled orders
Commitment to safety regarding use of equipment
Knowledge of all essential equipment and ability to oversee and schedule regular maintenance
Analytical skills to monitor production output and check for compliance with specifications
Ability to generate and submit reports on performance and progress
Work with Plant Manager to order materials needed for production
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, including ability to spot issues in efficiency/productivity and suggest improvements
Solid coaching and training skills to onboard new employees, including instruction on safety, e.g. how to safely use machinery and follow procedures
Work together with Human Resources and Safety Departments to actively stay in compliance with policies & procedures
Willingness to enforce compliance with safety guidelines and company standards
The essential functions of this role include:
