Description

Our firm is in search of an experienced and highly organized Construction Project Coordinator to manage projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate should possess excellent time management skills, impeccable follow-up abilities, and deep understanding of the construction industry and the related equipment, along with a desire to grow and build their career with our company.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage construction projects from start to finish.

  • Maintain a high level of organization and meticulous attention to detail throughout all stages of project.

  • Support the creation of invoices and schedule of values.

  • Manage daily project audit to ensure anticipated materials and equipment have been used and appropriately billed.

  • Oversee time management and equipment spreadsheets/contracts.

  • Formulate a schedule of values, including costs, per hour rates, equipment types, and cost breakdowns.

  • Ensure effective communication and coordination on assigned projects between all parties.

  • Handle heavy email correspondence and efficiently manage shared drives.

  • Collaborate with teams and stakeholders to ensure timely project completion.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in managing construction industry projects.

  • Familiarity with construction equipment and related cost breakdowns.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook. Experience with Ariba is an advantage but not a necessity.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

  • Dedication to providing great customer service.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills.

Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suites

• Experience in Billing Functions within a professional setting

• Outstanding Customer Service skills and the ability to interact professionally with clients

• Knowledge of Project Billing and Project Control methodologies

• Proven ability to coordinate and manage projects

• Prior experience in the Construction Industry is advantageous

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

• High degree of accuracy and precision in handling financial data

• Familiarity with standard office equipment and billing software.
