Kelly Services Overnight Material Handlers - 12 hour shift in Ontario, California

We’re seeking temp to permanent Material Handlers for a medical device production company in Ontario, CA. The company is looking for employees eager to grow in the role and business, and who can put an emphasis on QUALITY over QUANTITY.

Location: Ontario, CA 91761

Shift: 5:45pm-6:00am

Pay: $22p/h for first 8 hours, $33p/h for remaining hours of every shift (overtime rate).

Rotating schedule (this is set):

Week 1: Mon, Tue, Sat and Sun

Week 2: Wed, Thu and Fri

The process performed by our material handlers plays a part in the overall success of making life-saving devices available for people nationwide, so we are seeking additions to our team that have proven experience and shown dependability in past jobs.

Duties:

  • Manually move boxes onto a conveyor belt or pallet (from waist high countertop to waist high pallet)

  • Scan boxes coming in and being sent out, carefully examine paperwork and labeling to ensure accuracy.

  • Remain in stationary work are for most of the shift with your assigned team

  • Report any damaged boxes

  • Shrink wrap (automated)

Requirements/Experience:

  • Can put quality over quantity in work processes.

  • HS Diploma/GED required.

  • Steel toe shoes/boots

  • Okay with standing/walking for full shift

  • Minimum of 3 years of recent lumping / loading-unloading experience, material handling experience

  • Hiring screens

  • 90 days of good attendance (and ongoing)

  • If Kelly returnee, successfully completed past assignments.
