Description
We are in search of a meticulous Credit Clerk to join our team in Ontario, California. This role is critical in our telecom industry, where you will be tasked with processing customer credit applications, maintaining accurate records, and handling customer credit inquiries. You'll also be responsible for monitoring customer credit accounts and taking necessary actions to collect delinquent payments. This opportunity is a permanent opportunity and 100% onsite.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications.
• Maintain precise records of customer credit.
• Resolve customer credit-related inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Monitor customer credit accounts regularly.
• Take necessary action to collect delinquent payments.
• Conduct B2B collections activities, including making outbound calls, sending emails, and written correspondence to follow up on overdue invoices.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and payment status in the collections system.
• Identify and escalate delinquent accounts for further action.
• Use Excel formulas and Epicor ERP for efficient and effective collections activities.
• Ensure all actions are in compliance with industry regulations and standards.
Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Collections Specialist or in a similar role
• Proficiency in B2B collections
• Strong knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Proficient in using Excel Formulas
• Experience with Epicor and Epicor ERP is required
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• High attention to detail
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High school diploma or equivalent; higher degree in a relevant discipline will be appreciated.
