Job Corps has trained and educated over two million individuals since 1964.Oneonta Job Corps offers training in the medical trades (Certified Nursing Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant, and Medical Administrative Assistant), Automobile trades (Auto Body and Auto Technician), Construction Trades (Tile Setting, Cement Mason, and Electrical), and our advanced trades (Overhead Line, Rural Underground Distribution, SMART Meter, and our Drone Program). Position Available: Maintenance SpecialistIn this position, you will perform general maintenance repairs and upkeep duties to ensure a safe and healthy environment. General work details may include:Carpentry work in repairing or replacing doors, windows, walls, flooring, or any other work with wood structures.PlumbingHeatingAir-conditioning workDuctworkPipingInstrument controls, etc. We need someone who can demonstrate a working knowledge of: Electrical Work HVACBuilding Maintenance Skills and AbilitiesAnd who can work independently with minimum supervisionEducational Requirements/Licenses:High School Diploma or GED.
