Job Summary
The Clinical Nurse Manager Surgery is responsible for promoting and restoring patients' health by developing day-to-day management and long-term planning of the patient care area; directing and developing staff; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary professional staff; providing physical and psychological support for patients, friends, and families.
Education and/or Experience
Associate’s degree required
Bachelor’s degree preferred
1-2 years of relevant experience required
3-5 years of relevant experience preferred
Licensure/Certification/Registration
Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Nebraska or multistate licensure in a compact state required
Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required within six months of hire
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required within 6 months of hire
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required within 6 months of hire
Work Schedule
Monday-Friday, 8hrs/day. Start time varies based on case load; 80hrs/2wks
