We have an opportunity for a Project Manager to join our Auckland team!
As our Project Manager, you will be responsible nationally for the Projects Major/Minor Works and project-related Technical Support primarily. The business unit is the key support function to all JCI branches for sales and technical support for all Alarms/Sprinkler/Projects systems and products. You will be responsible for Projects day-to-day financial, internal/external customers, design, technical development, and provide project related technical training within the company.

What you will do:
Supervise all field personnel, sub-contractors, technicians and technical resources including design team and fabrication requirements, as needed to ensure efficient utilisation of labour and maximum profit on contracts
Program and administer contracts to achieve maximum returns and client satisfaction
Manage JCI branches all Major/Minor Works projects with existing customers and prospect new business opportunities across their designated region
Act as a key member of the team and drive the Johnson Controls fire branches to identify and close project opportunities as well, provide support to enable successful completion of projects and maintain high delivery standards in the relevant market
How you will do it:
Ensure a solution-driven approach, ensuring all product opportunities are made apparent to each customer that will ensure continued growth in revenue and profit of the relevant business segment
Network with fire consultants, builders, contractors and stand out in the market as one of the reliable technical segment expert
Program and administer contracts to achieve maximum returns and client satisfaction while ensuring all equipment issued is manufactured and presented to a satisfactory standard commensurate with the applicable standards and/or specification
What we look for?
Bachelor in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
Relevant project management qualifications
Previous Fire Protection experience in the area of Projects
Proven track record in sales revenue and business growth High degree of problem-solving ability
Experience with Projects fire protection systems
High degree of written and verbal communication skills
Financial capabilities
Advanced level skills in Microsoft Suite
