What You’ll Be Doing

As a member of the Managed Desktop Contact Centre Team you will provide subject matter expertise to medium/large projects/initiatives as they relate to the design, implementation and support of major infrastructure technology through the use of MECM. The Consultant, Infrastructure Management, will focus on building both virtual and physical devices in a Production Contact Centre environment supporting Tier 1 applications. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining innovative solutions that enhance our Contact Centre Operations.

You can effectively perform all work activities remotely and will only be required to be on-site on an occasional basis. OR You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-2 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.

How You’ll Succeed

  • Client engagement – Meet with business partners to understand their priorities, advise them on solutions, and provide answers to any problems in the infrastructure.

  • Extensive Technical Troubleshooting - Strong MECM Troubleshooting knowledge of approaches and techniques for anticipating, recognizing, and resolving technical (hardware, software, application or operational) problems. Open tickets with 3rd party vendors (MS and Google) and collaborate in collecting logs and troubleshooting until resolution

  • Information Security Management - Knowledge of processes, tools, techniques and practices for assuring adherence to standards associated with accessing, altering and protecting organizational data.

  • Leveraging technology - Strong familiarity of x86 Server Hardware Architecture, Disaster Recovery Concepts, High Availability, IT Audit processes, redundant components and concepts of Virtualization.

Who You Are

  • You can demonstrate experience in 2-3 years of experience managing and administrating Windows endpoints through MECM including Patching, Software Deployment, Maintenance; Active Directory, Group Policy Objects (GPO), High Availability; Operating System Deployment. In managing and enhancing change management reports. At least 2 years of experience utilizing MS office suite, specifically Teams, Excel and PowerPoint. A strong asset if you have experience utilizing ServiceNow, Global Protect, Intune, and you have knowledge of SCCM/Active Directory and PowerShell scripting.

  • You have a degree/diploma. In Business, Commerce, and/or related program.
