Fiscal Assistant/Accounts Payable

About the position: To assist the Fiscal Manager and Fiscal/HR Director with agency accounting operations to include all accounts payable duties to include but not limited to process payments to vendors,processes check and vouchers on a weekly basis, as well as receive, reconcile and resolve discrepancies in vendor statements. Prepares 1099's and remains current with all applicable State and Federal reporting requirements. Assists in Annual audit preparation.

 

Education and Experience: 

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Valid WA State Driver's License

  • One year of accounting experience, to include accounts payable, payroll, and budgeting

  • One year of experience using Microsoft applications, Google suite applications, accounting software, and computer systems

     

     Details:

  • Full-time 40 hr per week/ 52 weeks 

  • Wage $19.60 per hour for qualified applicant with high school diploma and one year of experience

  • Wage $23.25  per hour for qualified applicants with an AA and two years of experience or combination
