Aston Carter Tax Manager in Omaha, Nebraska


• Prepare and review individual and business state and federal tax returns

• Manage a variety of clients and tax projects

• Manage and train interns and staff accountants

• Collaborate with firm Partners

• Preparation of complex Partnership Federal and State tax returns. Review of partnership tax returns prepared by staff

• Research of basic tax issues

• Prepare and review Federal and State payroll tax returns.

• Preparation and review of personal property tax returns

• Utilize QuickBooks and perform basic accounting service functions

• Excellent preparation of depreciation schedules and knowledge

• Proficient ability of preparation Attest Services. Review of financial statements and reports prepared by staff

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

CPA HIGHLY preferred - candidates who are prepared to sit for CPA exam will be considered as well

3 - 4 years Public Accounting experience

Hands on client experience

Team player

Ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment

Firm uses CCH ProSystem FX Tax - this is something they are willing to train on as long as they have experience with some other tax software
