The primary function of the SIOP Manager is to oversee the sales, inventory, and operations planning (SIOP) processes for North America Infrastructure. This position is responsible for leading the demand forecasting strategies and facilitating agreements on the operations supply planning related to capacity and inventory. This position also oversees the SIOP analytics team and processes, which includes daily reporting, data quality improvement, data management, and process improvement. The incumbent will develop and gain alignment on short, mid, and long-range operating and demand plans, which drive the supply, resource, and inventory planning functions. The incumbent works closely with regional management teams and the materials teams to ensure collaboration between sales, operations, and finance. This role requires a proactive leader with strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of supply chain and operations management.

Essential Functions:

  • This position reports to the Sr. Director, Materials and has 6 direct reports.

  • Ensure all safety systems, processes, and policies are always being adhered to

  • Lead the SIOP process, ensuring effective integration of sales, inventory, and operations planning activities to achieve business goals.

  • Facilitate regular SIOP meetings with cross-functional teams to review forecasts, inventory levels, production plans, and identify potential issues.

  • Develop and lead the North America SIOP planning processes to generate accurate volume plans based on historical data, forecasts, market trends, and sales inputs.

  • Foster strong collaboration between sales, marketing, finance, procurement, operations, and logistics teams to ensure a cohesive approach to SIOP.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance SIOP processes, increase efficiency, and reduce costs.

  • Generate and present regular reports on SIOP performance, highlighting key insights, risks, and opportunities.

  • Provide actionable recommendations to senior management based on SIOP analysis.

  • Develop SIOP metrics and action plans that affect the bottom line, increase customer service, and optimize resource utilization.

  • The job requires up to 10% travel (domestic and international).

Required Qualifications of Every Candidate (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):

  • Preferred Bachelors with 6+ years relevant experience or Associates Degree with 8+ years relevant experience or 10+ years of relevant experience

  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to support divisional business objectives

  • Ability to react to change in a timely and organized manner.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.

  • Must be a person of passion and integrity who has the drive to excel and deliver exceptional results.

Highly Qualified Candidates Will Also Possess These Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or equivalent

  • 3+ years supervisory experience in manufacturing operations or business planning

  • Proven track record of successfully leading SIOP processes and driving cross-functional collaboration.

  • Financial experience including P & L responsibilities.
