What we're looking for...

The Human Resource Manager partners with senior corporate managers, facility managers, and supervisors to address complex organizational and business issues, facilitate effective communication and deliver superior bottom line results. Align human capital to deliver maximum value to the customer. Develops key HR indicators to measure human capital performance. Monitors, recommends, and implements changes in compliance with state/country laws.

Expectations & Accountabilities...

  • Lead human resource initiatives. Implement processes and procedures that streamline human resources efficiencies. Coaches supervisors on employee performance issues.

  • Attract and retain talent through proactive recruitment of hourly and salaried employees. Partner with operations management to implement a superior recruitment process.Create and conduct a comprehensive new-employee orientation process.

  • Effectively create, implement and present necessary policies and procedures to improve site effectiveness while balancing employees' needs.

  • Compensation management- Revise job descriptions as necessary; analyze compensation and recommend changes as necessary within framework.

  • Ensure compliance to all applicable regulatory laws such as FLSA, ADA, FMLA, and EEOC.

  • Develop, recommend, and implement personnel policies and procedures that ensure consistent and fair treatment. Prepare and maintain site specific policies and procedures.

  • Participates in developing department goals, objectives, and systems.

  • Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.

  • Participate in operations and DC leadership team meetings to provide support and offer guidance on HR issues.

  • Create and design training plans that increase skill sets of employees through learning management system

  • Partner with all site leadership including Health and Safety to support a safe working environment for associates.

What you'll need to be successful...

  • Three (3) to five (5) yearsof verifiable leadership experience preferred.

  • Demonstrated leadership and change management skills. Previous experience in counseling supervisors and managers in resolving employee issues and concerns demonstrated business acumen.

  • Customer focused to both internal and external customers at multiple sites.

  • Demonstrated experience as a change advocate, an employee advocate, business partner and trusted advisor for management team.

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Ability to react quickly to employee needs, questions, requirements.

  • Must have good knowledge of HR legislative requirements (benefits, payroll, taxes, FMLA, etc.) for multiple states/countries.

  • Excellent organizational skills; good time management skills.

  • Needs to be visible across shifts and sites: willing to work different hours so as to be accessible to off shifts. Willing to travel to multiple sites as required.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites. Previous HRIS experience preferred.

  • Strong conflict resolution skills.

  • Knowledge of multiple site/state/country policies, laws and regulations.

  • Previous experience with multi-site manufacturing/warehousing operations.

  • BS/BA Degree in Human Resources or equivalent relevant experience in lieu of degree.

  • SPHR, SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
