ManpowerGroup Payroll Specialist in Omaha, Nebraska
Our client, a Fortune 500 advertising company, is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join their team. As a Payroll Specialist , you'll join the Payroll team supporting multiple businesses across several states. Ideal candidates will bring strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in Workday and Microsoft Office.
Job Title: Payroll Specialist
Location: Omaha, Nebraska
Pay Range: $50,000 to $65,000+ annually (depending upon experience)
Hybrid role, Work from home Monday and Friday
What's the Job?
Handle all payroll functions for multi-state, multi-company payrolls using Workday, including processing California terminations, calculating overtime, managing gross-ups, charity deductions, and processing bonus payments.
Oversee workflow to ensure timely and accurate processing of all payroll transactions.
Review incoming documents for required approvals and verify the accuracy of data entry by local offices for assigned agencies.
Process off-cycle payments as needed.
Provide support to local Payroll and HR departments by addressing inquiries and assisting with questions.
What's Needed?
High school diploma or equivalent required
3+years of experience in a similar role
Workday experience essential
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe
Familiarity with federal and state laws regarding garnishments, tax regulations, and FLSA
