CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as an Owner's Representative / Project Manager. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a world-class organization that is dedicated to delivering integrated real estate solutions and driving organizational productivity and performance.

Owner's Representative/project Manager will be responsible for ground up construction of the Clients office space on existing and new data center campuses. This is a standalone building and will include; offices for staff, operations people and other client personnel. The facility will also include conference rooms, control room and various amenities.

This is an onsite role in Omaha, NE.

About the Role

  • Work with Contractor(s) / A&E design team to create and establish the Master Project Schedule, based on the Critical Path and key milestones

  • Create and establish the Master Project Budget, including soft costs and hard costs

  • Support Contractor pre-qualification, bid solicitation, bid analysis and recommendations

  • Support Contract negotiation, typically in concert with the Client’s PM and legal counsel, including establishment of all GC “business terms” including mark-ups, fees, insurance, labor rates, escalation, etc

  • Ensure A&E is completing the complete list of City and/or other Authority approvals process, permitting, etc

Pre-construction / Design / Planning

  • Work with Contractor(s) / A&E design team to create and establish the Master Project Schedule, based on the Critical Path and key milestones

  • Create and establish the Master Project Budget, including soft costs and hard costs

  • Support Contractor pre-qualification, bid solicitation, bid analysis and recommendations

  • Support Contract negotiation, typically in concert with the Client’s PM and legal counsel, including establishment of all GC “business terms” including mark-ups, fees, insurance, labor rates, escalation, etc.

Project Close Out / Fit-Up

  • Initiate close out process prior to project completion, typically two to three months in advance with Document Control team, setting timelines and responsibilities

  • Establish close out documentation requirements. Ensure receipt of all close out documents until completion, including warranties, as-builts, O&M manuals, etc.

What You'll Need!

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience

  • Technical Project Management or Coordination

  • Mission critical or Industrial facilities upgrades and retrofits project management

  • Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive, Drawings, Hangouts, etc. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint

  • Scheduling application: Primavera P6, P3 is an advantage!
