We are currently looking for an AWS Cloud Consultant to join our team!
Responsibilities consist of but are not limited to:
Advise, setup, configure, optimize, and maintain AWS infrastructure that leverages cloud capabilities in availability, reliability, scalability, and cost advantages
Ability to work independently, resolve issues, learn new technologies, and develop best practices for new and existing projects
High sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize multiple initiatives to deliver competitive advantages with cloud hosting
Familiarity with application development, testing, and agile frameworks/methodologies
Great communication skills and the ability to work across teams and levels to ensure smooth operations
Work as a technical advisor alongside customer business, development and infrastructure teams
Lead technical and design discussions with IT executives to help speed the adoption of new technologies and practices
Advise on implementing AWS best practices
Experience with IT compliance and risk management requirements (eg. security, privacy, SOX, HIPAA, NIST, CIS, RSA, Cybersecurity framework, etc.)
Assisting clients with application architecture design, assessment and optimization including definition, documentation and implementation of new application architectures
Review and evaluation of key attributes of existing application architectures.
Perform hands-on automation development/scripting including reports and automation.
Designing, building, evolving, and maintaining automation frameworks.
Develop documentation for security, automation, and support.
Required Skills consist of but are not limited to:
Proven experience as an AWS DevOps or AWS Cloud Architect
BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
Architecting, designing and developing applications on the AWS platform
Active AWS certification (AWS Solutions Architect preferred)
Experience in implementing complex projects. Experience with cloud deployments for more than 4 years.
Experience architecting highly available systems that utilize load balancing, horizontal scalability and high availability
Good exposure to Agile software development and DevOps practices such as Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Continuous Integration and automated deployment
Research new technologies and prototype solutions that can be leveraged to decrease costs, and increase performance
Experience maintaining and monitoring a large cloud service
Deploy/ Operate instances in AWS
Hands on experience in Networking fundamentals.
Deployment experience using common AWS technologies like VPC, Elastic Load Balancing, Application Load Balancing, and regionally distributed EC2 instances
Nice to have skills include:
Experience with Microsoft Active Directory
Experience with Azure and/or Google Cloud
Experience with PowerShell
