The Risk Management Lead – Home Health contributes to the success of Humana’s business strategy by supporting risk management initiatives across Home Solutions teams.
As a Risk Management Lead – Home Health, you will be responsible for:
Identifying strategic, operational, financial, and compliance risks through facilitation of risk assessments, providing cost-effective recommendations on improvements and efficiencies.
Partnering with stakeholders across Home Solutions on a variety of risk initiatives related to Value-Based Purchasing Models and other strategic plans.
Serving as a subject matter expert for home health processes to assess risks in existing operations, potential new initiatives, and key business priorities
Exercising independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
5+ years of auditing, process design/improvement, project management, risk management, developing solutions, or business consulting
Deep understanding of CMS Value-Based Purchasing Model
Knowledge of various healthcare payer models, including episodic, fee-for-service, and value-based care
Successful track record in influencing, facilitating, and consulting effectively across cross-functional teams and managing projects
Proficiency in verbal and written communication to senior and executive leadership
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple or competing priorities
Likes to focus on the "big picture" and thrives in a fast paced, multi-project work environment
Ability to present opportunity for improvement on calls with business partners
Comprehensive knowledge of MS Word, Power Point, Excel, including ability to create pivot tables and summarize data into reports and dashboards
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced certifications such as CPA, CIA
Previous experience in home health, care delivery, or care management

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$104,000 - $143,000 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
