Performance Tester BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated PERFORMANCE TESTER Job for an ONSITE opportunity in Olympia, WA 98501. Job Description * We are seeking an experienced (7+ years of experience) Performance Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in performance testing of.NET Core Web applications with backend batch processing. As a Performance Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the performance, scalability, and reliability of our applications under varying load conditions. Responsibilities: * Design, develop, and execute performance test strategies for .NET Core Web applications. * Conduct performance testing of backend batch processing systems. * Analyse performance test results and provide recommendations for improvements. * Collaborate with developers, architects, and product managers to identify performance bottlenecks. * Create and maintain performance test scripts using industry-standard tools. * Participate in performance tuning activities to optimize application performance. * Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in performance testing. Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field. * Proven experience as a Performance Tester in testing .NET Core Web applications. * Experience with performance testing tools such as LoadRunner (Must) or similar. * Solid understanding of backend batch processing systems. * Proficient in writing performance test scripts and analysing results. * Knowledge of SQL for performance testing database interactions. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Skills: * Load Runner enterprise. * SQL Server * Microsoft Excel * SQL (Structured Query Language) * Agile Software Development * Performance Tuning * Performance Testing Preferred Qualifications: * Certification in Performance Testing (e.g., ISTQB Certified Tester - Foundation Level). * Experience with Azure or AWS cloud environments. * Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks. * Understanding of Agile methodologies.
