You will work closely with various teams to bring the art team's vision to life and deliver high-quality educational content across multiple platforms. Your responsibilities will include educating users about the innovative features of our devices, developing best practices, and implementing scalable systems with cutting-edge tools to uphold the highest quality standards.

Motion Designer | HorizonOS Responsibilities:
Lead the development and execution of animations & still frames for system-level components, ensuring a cohesive and high-quality visual experience across platforms.
Establish and maintain comprehensive motion design guidelines to ensure consistency and quality in all motion-related elements across the organization.
Drive the organization’s point of view on motion design within a platform-level context, creating a unified and compelling motion language.
Collaborate closely with Creative Directors, Art Directors, Product Design, and Engineering teams to integrate motion design seamlessly into the overall user experience.
Effective at conceptualizing and creating new concepts for animations and motion graphics that enhance the usability and aesthetics of the platform.
Conduct regular reviews and refinements of motion design components based on feedback from stakeholders and team members.
Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and trends in motion design, animation, and generative AI.
Present motion design concepts, progress, and final deliverables to leadership and stakeholders, effectively communicating the vision from a Motion design point of view.
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in motion with product, branding or communication design
Proven experience as a Motion Designer or in a similar role, with a portfolio showcasing high-quality animations, stills and motion graphics.
Proficiency in industry-standard motion design software, such as After Effects, Adobe Animate, Cinema 4D, or similar.
Exhibited understanding and command of the principles of animation and easing
Demonstrated experience in 2D and 3D animation skills
Knowledge of Lottie, JSON, prototyping
Experience articulating concepts to a diverse range of stakeholders.
Demonstrated experience with organizational and project management skills, with the experience to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics, quality and usability.
Understanding of branding principles and the experience maintaining cohesiveness across all motion design elements.
Interest in emerging technologies and a desire to stay at the forefront of innovation in motion design.

Experience in pursuing emerging technologies

Public Compensation:
$126,000/year to $175,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
