Providence St. Joseph Health Mental Health Counselor Masters - Emergency Services Nights in Olympia, Washington
Description The Crisis Service Counselor is a professional who provides crisis management; intervention; an emergent clinical evaluation; information; follow-up referrals; and discharge planning to patients and families who present in the Emergency Center with a wide variety of psychiatric, chemical addiction, and psych-social problems. SCHEDULE: 0.9 FTE; Averaging 36 hours per week. SUPPORTING NIGHTS; 12-hour shifts, 5:30p-6a PST. Every other weekend rotation (Friday & Saturday nights). Required Qualifications: Master's Degree Social Work, Human Services or Psychosocial/Mental Health Field. 1 year Clinical crisis evaluation and intervention in an acute psychiatric setting with an emphasis on quick assessment skills.
