Providence St. Joseph Health Associate Pharmacy Technician - Outpatient in Olympia, Washington

Description Associate Pharmacy Technician - Outpatient SCHEDULE: 1.0 FTE, averaging 40 hours per week. Variable shift. 8-hour shift length. Monday-Friday, ranging between 8a-5:30p PST depending on schedule. Saturday-Sunday 8a-4:30p PST. Weekend rotation is required. Open most holidays; staff rotates to support scheduling of holiday time. Credena Health Pharmacy Outpatient Pharmacy located at St Peter Hospital in Olympia, WA. Performs duties of filling and dispensing hospital discharge and community pharmacy prescriptions. Experience in Community/Retail pharmacy is preferred (1 year minimum). Performs all duties in a manner that promotes teamwork and reflects the Sisters of Providence Mission and Philosophy. Required qualifications: Coursework/Training and Successful completion of a Pharmacy Technician Level A training program certified by the Washington State Board of Pharmacy. Or equivalent educ/experience Upon hire: Washington Pharmacy Technician License Experience with telephone call prioritization. Experience with stressful/urgent need situations. 3 months of Practical experience in a hospital pharmacy under the direct supervision of pharmacist.
