TEKsystems Application Engineering Lead (Microsoft D365 CRM) in Olympia, Washington
We are looking for a Lead Microsoft D365 Consultant to spearhead software design/development efforts for this 12 month+ engagement. This position is a remote opportunity; however, will require the consultant to come on-site occasionally. This person will need to work on PST. hours.
Role and Responsibilities
We are on the hunt for an experienced Lead Software Engineer with expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 to spearhead our software development efforts and drive digital transformation projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid track record of deploying and customizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions to meet business requirements, enhancing operational efficiency, and enabling better decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design, development, and implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions, ensuring they align with the business objectives and integrate seamlessly with other systems.
Conduct detailed requirements analysis, system design, and architecture planning to ensure scalability and performance.
Customize and configure Dynamics 365 applications to tailor solutions to specific business needs, including CRM, ERP, and other related modules.
Collaborate closely with stakeholders across departments to translate business needs into technical specifications and actionable project plans.
Manage the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) for Dynamics 365 solutions, from conception through deployment and support.
Provide leadership and guidance to a team of developers and engineers, promoting Agile methodologies and best practices in software development.
Stay abreast of updates and new features in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and related technologies, ensuring our solutions remain cutting-edge.
Offer technical support and training to end-users, ensuring they can effectively use and benefit from Dynamics 365 solutions.
Lead the effort in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Dynamics 365 applications, ensuring high levels of performance and user satisfaction.
Collaborate with the IT department to determine infrastructure needs for Dynamics 365 solutions and oversee the implementation of required hardware and software.
Participate in continuous improvement processes by providing insights and feedback on software architecture and development processes.
Required Qualifications
• Proven experience (5+ years) as a software engineer or developer, with at least 3 years focused on Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and its modules (CRM), with documented successes in deployment, customization, and integration.
• Experience in leading software development teams using Agile methodologies.
• Expertise in programming languages and frameworks relevant to Dynamics 365 customization, including .NET, C#, JavaScript, and PowerApps.
• Solid problem-solving skills and proficiency in analyzing business processes and translating them into effective software solutions.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Certified in Microsoft Dynamics 365 is highly desirable.
• Strong experience with Restful API’s, OData interfaces, and Postman.
• Familiar with Swagger, NSwag, and Typescript
• Solid understanding of SQL database design, development, and optimization.
• Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
• Knowledge of .NET Framework, C#, and web technologies (ASP.NET, MVC) would be advantageous.
• Effective communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
