Training & Technical Illustrator

What would you do as our Training & Technical Illustrator
As our Training & Technical Illustrator for the Global Solutions division of ASSA ABLOY, you will have the opportunity to grow with a global business by being offered opportunities to explore, develop and learn. Reporting to Training & Documentation Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining both internal & external documentation & training materials as well as working on development tasks involving both new and existing products.
You would also:
Write and maintain product support documentation for customers and internal staff
Run training sessions and generate eLearning courses for both internal and external customers
Collaborate with developers and managers to clarify technical issues as well as liaise with subject matter experts including R&D and marketing specialists
Generate and prepare illustrations and/or graphics and create videos, eLearning or other multimedia content for customers and staff
Index and catalogue materials as well as organise information according to the user's needs
This position also includes keeping up to date with developments and enhancements in the products.
The skills and experience you need
We are looking for someone who has:
Computer Literacy with Microsoft Office and Adobe’s Design Suite (or similar)
Experience with ‘Help’ Authoring Tool software such as RoboHelp or MadCap Flare
eLearning software experience such as Articulate Storyline and Rise
Experience with video production and associated software
Experience with the generation of eLearning courses
Your previous experience in training would be an advantage for this position. You should also have the ability to work across several projects simultaneously as well as the ability to solve technical problems on your own once trained and react quickly and appropriately to changing priorities.
